Ulfr

Ulfr (commonly referred as wolves) are a type of Kemono from the planet Petra. They carry wolf-like features on a otherwise human-like appearance and are known to be hardy in extreme conditions.

Ethnic Groups

Since the The Great Winter Famine, Ulfr have moved from Land of the Nords to other regions, leading to evolutionary or cultural changes.

Nord Ulfr

The original Ulfr lived in the Land of the Nords. However, The Great Winter Famine forced a notable number of Ulfr to travel to other lands to survive. Both the remaining and relocated Ulfr commonly refer to themselves as the Nord Ulfr to distinguish themselves from other ethnic groups of Ulfr. Noted for their pale complexion, they have a high resistance to cold and individuals have been known to continue their day in blizzard conditions.

Desert Ulfr

Desert Ulfr are Ulfr who moved into the arid regions of the planet, gaining high resistance to heat at the cost of their original resistance to cold. A common trait of Desert Ulfr is a darker skin palette compared to their Nord counterpart.

Freedom States Ulfr

Ulfr that live in the Freedom States. A lack of elemental resistance, but unusual/unnatural/unexplained resistance to projectiles.

Okami

Okami are Ulfr that integrated into eastern cultures. A common trait is narrow eye shape and lack of blue pigment in the iris.

Dire Ulfr

Dire Ulfr (commonly referred as dire wolves) are a mutated sub-race of Ulfr with increased height and strength, descended from ancestors affected by radioactive fallout from the 1st Cross-Planetary War. The most common ancestry of Dire Ulfr is the Nord Ulfr, but other ethnic groups have similar Dire variants.
